Training
Here at HM Performance Horses we understand that every horse, and horse owner has different needs and expectations. That is why we have designed our training program to accomodate a wide variety of horses and riding disciplines. Horses in training receive all of the benefits of full board as well as riding six days a week. We are firm believers that not only do horses need to know how to ride in the arena, but outside of it as well. Therefore, we spend a lot of time on them outdoors whether it be trail riding or working cattle.
Training Includes:
~ Starting young horses
~ Working with "troubled" horses
~ Fitting horse for the show ring
~ Finishing horses for performance
~ Desensitizing
Our regular rate for thirty days includes full board. Your horse will stay in a box stall in our barn, grain 2/day, hay, stall cleaned daily, and training. Any additional costs (i.e. farrier) the owner is still responsible for. After the first 30 days of training is complete we have the horse owner evaluate it's progress. You can then make the decision to take the horse home or leave it for additional training either by the week or month.
We will customize our training program for each horse and their owner. If you have something specifically that you know is a problem with your horse or something you absolutely want your horse to do just let us know and we can cater to your needs!

$500/ 30 days horses 4 yrs old and under
$125/week after initial 30 days
*additional charges may apply for horses age 5 or older who have not been saddle broke

HM Performance Horses is well versed in sales preparation and representation and can take the prospective sales horses from the pasture to sales-ready in a timely and professional manner. Schooling, grooming, and fitting your horse effectively insures the best possible presentation.
We start with an overall evaluation of the prospect including size, substance, and athleticism in relation to the age, sex, and pedigree. Then we build and implement an exercise and nutritional program specific to the individual’s needs.
Once the horse has reached his optimal appearance we then go on to market him for you. Not only will your horse be advertised on our website, but on several of the leading equine sales websites as well. We weed through the phone calls to try and find the most suitable horse and rider match. We handle all of the appointments with customers, vets, blacksmiths, trainers, and whoever else needs to view the horse before the purchase is completed. Upon completion of the sale we send payment directly to you!
For a small fee we can board, train, show, and sell your horse in our barn! Our average time to sell a 'performance horse' is 60 days. Sales Service Options 1.
